HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY SPRAY TANNING SESSION?

PRE-TAN INSTRUCTIONS

Shower, shave, and use an exfoliating mitt the day or night before your appointment. If you must shower the same day, do so, at least 4 hrs prior to your appointment time.
***Showering too closely to your appointment time will result in your tanning not fully developing or uneven results. It will also cause your spray tan to fade very quickly. We cannot guarantee your spray tan if these recommended prep instructions are not followed.

 

When exfoliating, always use a mitt. Using any type of scrub will result in your tan being uneven or worse not developing.

Do not apply any moisturizers, oils, serums, or any liquid type product to your body after you shower. Come to your appointment with very clean and thoroughly dry skin.

 

Waxing, facials, and nail appointments should be done at least 24 hrs prior to your spray tan appointment.

 

Bring or wear loose fitting clothing. No tight banding or heavy materials that could cause your skin to heat up. Black or dark colors are best. If sleeping in your spray tan, its best to wear a light material long sleeve shirt with light material long pants.

 

If you are not able to follow these instructions unfortunately it may result in unwanted results. We would recommend a reschedule if you are unable to follow these pre tan instructions.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR WHEN YOU SPRAY TAN ME?

Your welcome to wear your own panties (our disposable), a bathing suit, or fully nude. It’s best to to bring or wear a loose fitting shirt, shorts, romper, pjs or loose pants. No tight banding, workout clothing, yoga pants, jeans, etc.

HOW LONG DOES THE CUSTOM SPRAY TAN SESSION TAKE?

About 10-15 minutes.

WHEN WILL THE COLOR SHOW UP?

Right away, the outside cosmetic bronzers immediately show on your skin then reach their darkest potential after 8 hours of leaving it on, then you rinse it off for your natural bronzed look!

HOW LONG WILL THE CUSTOM AIRBURSH TAN LAST?

The average client says about nine days then scrub it off and start over.

IS SPRAY TANNING SOLUTION SAFE FOR MY SKIN?

YES, very safe, in fact, pregnant women and young adults are encouraged by doctors daily to get airbrushed. My solution is made from DHA (a sugar derivative) found naturally in the human body. We also add great things like aloe vera, green tea extract, and vitamins to nourish and moisturize the skin. DHA has been used cosmetically for over 30 years with no adverse effects.

POST MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

 

Depending on the clothing you wear after, you may want to bring a towel to lay down on your cars seat.

 

Body wash, soap, and lotion all factor in on how long your spray tan will last. DHA (ingredient that tans our skin) is very very sensitive to most ingredients (its annoying). Dove, Suave, Olay, Aveeno, Dial, Irish Spring, Method, or any of the over the counter cheap soaps with strip your spray tan from the first shower. This will cause your spray tan to only last 3-5 days and will fade harshly leaving patchy orange areas around your body. We offer a great all natural body wash that has natural ingredients tested successfully against DHA. Using our body wash will ensure your tan fades gradually and naturally. Using our body wash will also ensure that your tan lasts 10-14 days and in some cases longer than 14 days!!

 

Your skin wont be able to breath after your sprayed so you will need to keep yourself very dry and cool. We offer an amazing powder service that can help prevent your skin from perspiring. Even if you are someone who does not sweat easily, your skin will want to perspire when skin touches skin.

 

No working out, strenuous activities, getting wet, or touching your skin.

 

If sleeping in your spray tan, keep your room cool and dry. A fan or light AC is good but not too cold where your body generates a lot of heat while you sleep under the covers. If you are someone who sweats easily while sleeping, its recommended to use a lighter blanket or sheet to sleep with.
